How to play
Goal: When the game ends, whoever has more stones in their store wins.
Step by step
- Each player has 6 pits and 1 store. Every pit starts with 4 stones, 48 in total.
- Your turn: tap one of your pits to scoop up all its stones.
- Drop the first stone back into the same pit, then one by one into the pits that follow.
- Your own store gets a stone along the way; your opponent’s store is skipped.
- If your last stone lands in your store, you go again.
Rules
- If a pit has a single stone, it moves straight into the next pit.
- If your last stone makes an opponent pit even, you take that whole pit into your store.
- If your last stone lands in one of your empty pits and the opponent pit across has stones, you take that stone and everything across.
- The game ends when one side’s pits are all empty. The stones left on the other side go to the store of the player who emptied their pits.
- Biggest store wins; 24-24 is a draw.
- Bot levels: Easy plays mostly at random. Medium is greedy: it grabs a free turn first, otherwise the biggest haul. Hard looks many moves ahead.
Controls
- Touch: Tap a pit with stones on your side.
- Keyboard: Keys 1–6 pick your pits in sowing order (6 is the one right before your store). In solo play, Enter starts a new round once one ends.
In online matches
- You have 60 seconds per move; run out and you lose.
- If you disconnect, you have 60 seconds to come back or your opponent wins. Leaving the game also hands them the win.
- A rematch needs both of you to say yes; the first move switches sides in the rematch.
Tips
- If a pit has exactly enough stones to reach your store, play it first: free turn.
- An empty pit of yours facing a full one is a trap waiting to spring.
