How to play
Goal: First to line up four stones across, down or diagonally wins.
Step by step
- The board has 7 columns and 6 rows. You take turns dropping one stone at a time.
- Tap a column: your stone falls to the lowest empty spot in it.
- First to get four in a horizontal, vertical or diagonal line wins.
- If the board fills up and nobody makes four, it is a draw.
- Each new round, the first move switches to the other side.
Rules
- You can’t drop into a full column. Pick another one.
- Bot levels: Easy mostly plays at random and sometimes misses a win or a threat. Medium always takes a win and always blocks a threat. Hard thinks several moves ahead.
Controls
- Touch: Tap a column, or slide your finger across the columns; the stone drops where you lift your finger.
- Keyboard: Keys 1–7 pick a column. In solo play, Enter or Space starts a new round once one ends.
In online matches
- You have 60 seconds per move; run out and you lose.
- If you disconnect, you have 60 seconds to come back or your opponent wins. Leaving the game also hands them the win.
- A rematch needs both of you to say yes; the first move switches sides in the rematch.
Tips
- Opponent has three in a row? Block it right now.
- The middle column is part of the most possible fours, so keep your stones near the center.
