Privacy Notice

You don't need an account to play on Stockboi (stockboi.com). Still, running the site means we process some information. This notice explains what we process and why, and what your rights are, as required by Article 10 of Turkey's Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 ("KVKK").

2. What data do we process?
When you play as a guest
- A random guest ID created in your browser and the player name you pick (your opponent sees it in online rooms).
- The results of your matches (which game, who won, how long it took).
- Your game settings, high scores and recently played games. These stay on your device only.
If you create an account
- Your email address and username.
- Your password: never stored as plain text, only as a one-way hash.
- If you sign in with Google: the account ID, email address, name and profile information Google sends us.
- Your game progress and high scores (to sync them across devices).
- Session information: which device you signed in on and when it was last used.
While you use the site (technical data)
- Your IP address is processed temporarily for security and to prevent abuse; it is not stored permanently.
- Your device type (iOS, Android or computer).
- An anonymous, unstored live signal that lets us count how many people are on the site right now.
If you send a game suggestion
- The text you type into the suggestion box, the page you sent it from and your device type. If you're signed in, it's linked to your account. Only we read suggestions; they are never shown to anyone on the site. Please don't type personal information into the box.
For statistics (only if you allow it)
- Where you came to the site from (for example WhatsApp, Instagram, a Google search or a shared link) and which page you landed on.
- Which games you clicked, and which ones you started and finished.
- Your approximate location (country and city) derived from your IP address. The IP address itself is not stored.
3. Why do we process it, and on what legal basis?

4. Who do we share data with?
- We don't sell your data and we don't share it with anyone for advertising. There are no third-party ads or analytics tools on the site.
- In an online room, your opponent only sees your player name.
- If you choose Sign in with Google, sign-in goes through Google LLC (USA). This transfer happens because you chose to sign in with Google; how Google processes your data is governed by Google's own privacy policy.
- If legally authorized institutions request it, data may be shared within legal limits.
- Data is kept on our own server located in Turkey. Apart from Google sign-in, your data is not transferred abroad.
5. How long do we keep it?
- Raw visit and click records: 90 days. After that, only daily totals that can't be linked to anyone remain.
- Match results: indefinitely, for leaderboards and statistics; if you delete your account, your name in past matches is anonymized.
- Account information: for as long as your account is open. When you delete your account, your personal information is deleted or anonymized.
- Game suggestions: up to 1 year after they've been read and reviewed.
- Security logs: up to 6 months.
6. Your rights (KVKK Art. 11)
You can contact us to:
- find out whether your personal data is processed and, if so, request information about it,
- learn the purpose of the processing and whether it's used in line with that purpose,
- know the third parties, in Turkey or abroad, it has been transferred to,
- have it corrected if it's incomplete or wrong,
- have it deleted or destroyed,
- have corrections and deletions passed on to the third parties it was transferred to,
- object to a result against you that comes solely from automated analysis,
- claim compensation if you suffered damage because of unlawful processing.
If you have an account, you can do some of this yourself: in your account settings you can change your name, download your data and delete your account. For anything else, email info@stockboi.com. We reply within 30 days at the latest.
You can withdraw your statistics consent at any time using the Cookie settings link at the bottom of the page.
7. Children
Stockboi is open to players of all ages. If you're under 18, please ask a parent before creating an account. Playing as a guest doesn't require any personal information.
8. Changes
When we update this notice, we change the date at the top. We also announce important changes on the site.
