How to play
Goal: The cat runs on its own across the rooftops; get as far as you can without crashing, grab fish and beat your record.
Step by step
- There are three lanes. Swipe left or right to switch lanes.
- Swipe up to jump. Jump over tile piles and AC units.
- Swipe down to slide. Slide under washing lines and diving seagulls.
- Switch lanes to dodge chimneys, water tanks, satellite dishes, roof doors and pigeon coops.
- One crash ends the run. The longer you run, the faster it gets.
Rules
- Score: 1 point per metre. A fish is worth 10, a simit 50 and a golden fishbone 250.
- Evil eye bead: forgives your next crash.
- Magnet: pulls in fish from every lane for 8 seconds.
- Energy drink: 4 seconds of extra speed and nothing can hit you.
- You start at 11 metres per second and speed up a little every 100 metres.
Controls
- Touch: Swipe on the screen: left, right, up (jump), down (slide).
- Keyboard: Arrow keys or W A S D. Space jumps. Esc pauses.
In online matches
- You both run the same rooftop course with the same obstacles at the same time; your rival shows up as a see-through cat.
- Higher score wins. Once one of you crashes, the race ends as soon as the other passes their score.
- The server replays every run with the same rules; it decides crashes and scores.
- If you lose connection, your cat keeps running without you after a few seconds.
- A rematch needs both of you to say yes; the course is new each time.
Tips
- Switch lanes early: as you speed up, obstacles arrive sooner.
- With an evil eye bead on, you can risk diving for a tricky fish line.
